Vintage Christmas

Merry Christmas!
Still making a few cards... most of these are for those special packages. This graphic 45 Christmas line. I cut out that image (which was huge) to show the Santa and the little girl. It is pop dotted up placed on 2 different layers of paper all placed on my Neenah red paper. It hard to tell but I added some glittering on the tree, edges of the girl and Santa. Red glitter dots and silk ribbon bow.
This graphic 45 paper has lots of detail and the back sides have patterns that are small perfect for card or scrapbooking. I am looking forward for a few more days rest so I can do challenges or anything.
Wishing you all a safe and restful Holiday!!

Plum Garden Wreath

This is for the Plum Color Challenge at Moxie Fab (Will use for thanksgiving wishes for family). Plum is so rich it almost could be brown in darker lighting. Love that deep rich plum cardstock left over from another project so I was happy to revisit this again! I scored the lines at 1/2 interval to add some interest and colored the berries in some purple smooches (very hard to see but it is there!), a Martha Stewart deep cut garden punch for the border.

Vintage Cream Christmas Card

I revisited my red card but thought to make in cream. It still has those traditional red and green but just a little more easier on the eye. Those design adhesion's really make using glitter a snap. Those nice small poinsettias are just so pretty for the holiday!

Hello All,

The base Med Tan embossed with clear polka dots, green bazill cardstock. A snippet of ribbon and button finish it off. For the sentiment stamp by stampin up. I also made two other sentiments (*Just a Note* and *Thinking of You*) so the recipient can choose which on will fit their needs. I hope they like it and will use it:)

Simple Joys

A more serious and thoughtful type of card. I am loving it he fall season and the colors. I also tried the flower soft for that leaf effect on the ground. It does give it that texture feel. I must admit I went to a stamp re sale event at a LSS. I bought bunch of stuff Whoa!! This tamp above is just one of those fine examples. Who says old can't be new again? The paper, ribbon, outline ink, base sentiment and button is from PTI. Memento Ink and copics for the rest.

Autumn Leaf

Hello All
This is for my weekly stamping class I am following at PCP. The main idea is to use a scope of colors on one stamp. Since I did not have those particular brand of ink pads... I just inked my stamp up using a fall color scheme. Worked out good! I used all Memento inks, Bazill cardstock, PTI patterned paper, ribbon and button (the rustic brown). Sentiment by A Muse, stamp by stampin up.

Baby Onesies

I made some baby cards for some gals at work having babies. I love this Sizzix die cut, how cute is that? I will make other patterns , it what ever you make to be. I have the motivation to learn to set snaps. The expecting joy stamp is from Amuse, Most all paper is from PTI (old stuff they do not do 12 by 12 anymore), the boy paper is Twinkle Twinkle. Ribbon is Offray. I made the bibs to fit by cutting a 2 inch circle then outlining around the neck area, cutting on the line. The ribbon was first glued to the bib collar. The bow was made separate then adhered to the bib.

Merry Christmas!! A Christmas challenge already so who cannot resist playing along? I will admit I do not have allot of Christmas stuff but I do have the spirit:) I did go to the local scrap booking store when they were having the Christmas in July sale to clear out stuff so this is what/ why I even have a few items. I guess I will be the one shopping...
I started just trying to figure out what to do so what better than Christmas candy for all those kids. Candy Canes are an all time favorite so I picked the Candy Jars stamp by Impression Obsession. It colored with some glitter pens so I hope it shows in the picture.
The stuff used to make this card:
Pure Poppy and White Card stock by PaperTrey Ink (PTI)
Pure Poppy Ink (PTI)
Stazon Ink Black
Candy Cane paper by Sassfras Lass
Candy Jars stamp by Impression Obsession
Sentiment by Clearly Wordsworth
Copic Markers
Spica glitter pens

Polka Dot Ribbon PTI
Wide Ribbon my stash of leftovers

I hope you enjoy the card.

Caring Nurse

I was making a card for a coworker who had a bad day at work just for some support. I used that ribbon ruffling technique from Lisa Johnson (PTI Designer), it was just the thing for that added punch! This a Clear Art stamp from the Feeling Yucky set. The paper is PTI Pure Poppy and ribbon, white card stock also PTI. I used Copics to color her. The bottom oval is from AMuse. The sentiment was something I got at the craft store discount bin, no markings. So the Heartwarming Vintage and Crafty Secrets is having the challenge of the week...a red white and blue card!!! So you know I had to post it over there to:)

Field of Dreams

This scrapbook layout is from PCP Jen Tapler Sunday Sketch Challenge. With Field of Dreams as the movie pick, that was something easier to understand and with this sketch I hope I hit a home run:). I made that baseball and placed my faux red stitching on there and few other places. My red was more cardinal red from my copic markers. The accent color is scarlet jewel from from PTI. I used Bazill card stock in Ivy green, brown, and one of the rich yellows. The star paper is from Best Creation.
For the card I made it with left overs from the layout page. All that glitzy paper was on the other side of that star paper WOW that was a good value!

Time for another color challenge for me. I have done one of these for awhile. For me the melon berry was hard part (or even rest of the card) I only had this Melony card stock form Bazill the rest is all PTI. Maybe after looking long and hard this finally reminded me of the 80's...Bright!

Just a little something I created for someone leaving our work/ unit. She is going home. I used PTI Bitty Buttons such cute set of stamps. Bazill basic Swiss Dot paper goes with Pure Poppy. The color are from Dawn McVeys color challenge from a few weeks ago ( missed that one!) This was to put together and the whole staff signed the card. The sentiment is from Clear Arts "A Bugs Life". I pulled out my sizzzix for the letters because I only had a tiny amount of spring moss paper left, so I knew that would work for sure.
